The SIDI Armada Gore Tex Boot are two boots in one! Featuring a wrap-around upper with ankle support beams can be removed to transform the Armada from an adventure boot to a touring boot. Possessing a highly breathable waterproof Gore-Tex membrane creating a waterproof yet highly breathable barrier between the elements and the rider’s feet. The Gore-Tex membrane breathes more than any other membrane, thus the rider’s feet will stay cooler in warm weather with a Gore Tex equipped boot.

The Armada is lined throughout with a lightweight, perforated, Teflon-treated fabric in order to allow moisture to “breath.” This moisture is quickly transferred to the top grain leather outer, which causes it to dry quickly with no mold build up.

The nylon inner sole has a removable arch support. The inner gaiter also ensures correct foot positioning during riding and walking. Elastic panels offer a comfortable fit as well as full Velcro over the zipper.

• Full Grain Microfibre Outer Skin Full Grain Microfibre with very similar characteristics to the genuine leather. Full grain microfiber is not affected by aging and all its features are meant to be long-lasting. Lighter than leather it has very high mechanical properties outstanding tensile strength, tear resistance and flexing endurance. It maintains its softness flexibility and offers a better feel than leather or other synthetic material boots. Full grain Microfibre is stable breathable and water repellent. More resistant than leather.

• Gore-Tex highly breathable and waterproof membrane The Gore-Tex membrane is at the heart of all products engineered with Gore-Tex fabrics. It contains over 1.4 billion microscopic pores per square cm. These pores are 20,000 times smaller than a water droplet, but 700 times larger than a water vapour molecule. Water from outside will never penetrate. Yet perspiration can escape easily, thus less moisture is trapped in the insulation. The Result you stay warmer when it’s cold and drier when you perspire.

• Zipper Elastic panel Sidi has added a small elastic panel to aid in a smooth zipper operation as it allows a bit of movement via the elastic as the zipper passes over the riders ankle ball.

• Ankle Support Braces with ankle joint The two nylon braces join the ankle joint with two screws that are hidden by a nylon cap. This system supports the ankle and is reinforced with fiberglass and is easy to replace. This system allows excellent flex movement front to back while being firm side to side
